This is the first and hottest pool the spring flows into which is about 108-110 degrees. It’s only comfortable for a few minutes to me unless it has recently rained decreasing the temperature. The pools have been dug out a bit by man so they have a silty clay bottom which makes for the milky water and the edges are smooth, bare rock with a little bit of algae here and there. The water cools a few degrees as it drains into the lower pools.
